I'll be your guide into this trove of subfolders, electronic documents and 
image files created to support online (and offline) games using the Hull Breach
Vol. 1 anthology book for the Mothership Sci-fi Horror RPG.

WHAT IS THIS AND HOW CAN YOU USE IT?

This collection of digital resources including maps, player handouts, tokens
and more will enhance and supplement your Hull Breach gaming experience -- 
whether using dedicated virtual tabletop applications like Roll20 or Foundry,
sharing files directly with your friends via chat software like Discord, or
even at-home printing.

In these folders, you will find files organized by Hull Breach article to help 
you source everything you need to run tonight's adventure -- as well as Public 
Sector setting materials for fleshing out multi-session campaigns.

Keep an eye out for further README files in certain subfolders, which provide
additional technical information and suggested use-cases for specific assets.

WHAT WILL YOU FIND IN THIS ASSET PACK?

Expect to see modified and enhanced versions of Hull Breach Vol. 1 content in

MAKING THE MOST OF MAPS

While also suited for "battlemap"-style play with tokens on VTT, our maps work 
great as in-universe handouts and loot for "theatre of the mind" groups.

When selecting between the "Corrupted" info-light and complete versions of a 
map for your game, consider which most suits the PC crew's familiarity with the 
location -- employees of a research facility or military base should have 
access to the complete map, while first-time explorers of an unknown and 
possibly alien structure might receive the spoiler-free map from their
corporate employees (or none at all)!

Always link map access to in-universe action. Players hacking into facility 
computer banks, looting employee corpses or using drones to scout ahead might 
gain partial or incomplete maps for their efforts -- depending upon degree of 
success. A failed hack attempt might extract only a cropped screenshot of a 
"Corrupted" map, while a thorough interrogation of station security might 
extract a full, keyed map with secrets and all.

Try placing maps and other assets in unrelated locations or as pay for 
contracts -- using them as hooks into the next adventure!

NPC CARDS AND YOU

Like maps, NPC Cards can help represent player-character knowledge, function as 
in-universe rewards or artifacts -- or just lower cognitive burden when keeping 
track of a scenario's key NPCs.

Only distribute NPC Cards once players are familiar enough with the NPC to know 
the information contained upon the card -- rather than upon initial contact.
The cards exclude secret and exclusively Warden-facing information, but assume 
at least moderate familiarity with the character in question.

Players may gain NPC Cards via social interaction with NPCs, accessing 
corporate dossiers or through scenario framing devices -- if co-workers or
crewmates.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If you receive a "Path too long" or similar error when opening any of these 
files, try placing the Digital Asset Pack folder within a more shallow 
subfolder in your computer -- closer to your root storage device. Moving it to 
your desktop (or a few folders deeper) should fix the error.
